Interview of Tanya "Techni" Myoko
Interview conducted by Hbomb on March 8, 2002

Hbomb: Hello. Welcome to another Snowflake Interview. Our guest here is Tanya "Techni" Myoko, artist/writer/creator of Techni Gaiden and artist/writer for Fresh From the Icebox: Try. Welcome, Techni.

Techni: hihi!

Hbomb: Tell everyone something about yourself.

Techni: My name is Techni, it's a nickname I've had for over a decade now. I like it better than my real name. I've been watching anime since I was a kid, but only got into it when I first saw Sailor Moon. I've been drawing since first grade, but no where near as good as I can now.

Hbomb: What made you start drawing a webcomic?

Techni: Well, I saw my good buddy Josh doing one, and since I paralleled his Pokemon site years ago, and I wanted to improve my drawing skills too, I thought what the heck. He's kind of my inspiration. Josh has been a big influence on my life.

Hbomb: Speaking of Josh Nickerson, he asks: "What about your torrid affair with a certain cartoonist who used to do a comic that you do now?"

Techni: It didn't work out, I was only after his body. It was purely physical. He kept saying "I have a mind too" :(

Hbomb: ...and the new DMG Files being drawn by Techni will be debuting in April. ;)

Techni: Yup, Techni is starting her own monopoly. Snowflake will be mine. Watch out Ian J, RPG World is next! My comics are going to be like Starbucks/Tim Horton's, one on every corner.

Hbomb: Be afraid!

Techni: I'm only kidding, Techni isn't conceited.

Hbomb: Now, let's move on. Our next question is from Duke Nuke: "What's your favorite Snowflake comic? Webcomic?

Techni: My favorite Snowflake comic, when it was running, was the original Icebox, but from the current comics, it's A Boy and His Foy. :) My favorite non-Snowflake comic is RPG World.

Hbomb: Duke also asks: "Which Snowflake character would you put up on the flagpole?"

Techni: Well, some of you guys have been begging for it. I'd have to say Cam, but he isn't on Snowflake, so I'll pick Josh, just so he'll have to stay long enough to have a decent conversation. I really don't get mad at anyone, so there's no real desire to put anyone up there.

Hbomb: Considering Josh's question, and I?Neo's bikini question, which I'm not going to ask, it looks like there are a couple flagpole-worthy questions. On a related note, Charizard 2000 asks, "Are you at all surprised by some of the questions our male population has come up with?"

Techni: Very surprised. I didn't think they thought of me in that way. They need to watch less Hentai. Just kidding, guys!

Hbomb: That's it. I'd like to thank Techni Myoko for being our guest on Snowflake Interviews.

Techni: No problem, I enjoyed this very much. :)
